HoMM 6: A wonderful game shackled with one of the worst DRM systems ever. The Skill Wheel system was a very nice addition though. HoMM 5: Basically jut HoMM 3 with vastly improved graphics. HoMM 4: Burn the heretic! Seriously, let's forget this one ever happened. ![]() That said, balance issues abound but make the game all the more fun. To consume even more space in this post I will now detail various games in these series and my opinions of them. Now, with Age of Wonders III set to release at the end of the month things are looking good in the land of "Fantasy 4X". More recently new additions to the altar include King's Bounty: The Legend (and add-ons), Warlock: Master of the Arcane and Eador: Masters of the Broken World. ![]() ![]() Later I discovered the Disciples and Age of Wonders series of games, similar but different enough to be worth the time investment. I spent many a night playing hot-seat multi-player with my roommate and his friends. I am a huge fan, having been indoctrinated into the cult during my first year of university. So, anyone else here a fan of HoMM and games like it?
